At QR Desk, we value your privacy. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it when you use the QR Desk mobile application.

1. Information We Collect To provide, improve, and support our app, we collect certain data from you and through our third-party partners (ad networks, analytics providers).

The data we collect, as declared in App Store Connect, is as follows:

Data Linked to You: This data is linked to your account, device, or identity.

Identifiers:

  • User ID: An anonymous identifier generated by services like RevenueCat to verify your purchase status (Pro membership).
  • Device ID: Used to recognize your device for advertising (IDFA) and analytics purposes.

Purchases:

  • Purchase History: Used to verify your Pro membership status and restore purchases.

Usage Data:

  • Product Interaction: Data on which features you use and which ads you interact with.

Advertising Data:

  • Advertising Data: Information about ads you view or click.

Diagnostics:

  • Crash Data: Used for debugging when the app crashes.
  • Performance Data: Data about the app’s speed and performance.

Location:

  • Coarse Location: At the country or city level, used to serve you more relevant ads.

2. How We Use Your Information? We use the collected data for three main purposes:

a) App Functionality We use your User ID and Purchase History data to verify your Pro membership purchase, remove ads, and operate the “Restore Purchases” feature.

b) Analytics We collect data such as Device ID, Product Interaction, Crash Data, and Performance Data through services like Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, fix bugs, and improve features. This data is not used for tracking.

c) Third-Party Advertising and Tracking To offer the app for free, we use third-party ad networks like AdMob and Unity Ads.

These ad networks collect data such as Coarse Location, Device ID, Product Interaction, and Advertising Data.

This data is used for “tracking” to show you more relevant ads and measure ad performance.

3. Our Third-Party Partners We share your data with the following third-party partners to provide their services:

  • RevenueCat: To manage purchases and verify Pro membership status.
  • Google AdMob & Unity Ads: To display third-party ads.
  • Google Firebase Analytics: To analyze app usage and receive crash reports.

These partners have their own privacy policies, which you can review to understand how they use your data.

4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) On iOS 14.5 and later, we must obtain your explicit permission for activities defined as “tracking” (using your Device ID for advertising purposes). We request this permission through the “Tracking Request” (ATT) window that appears when you first open the app.

If You Allow: Our ad partners (AdMob, Unity) use your device’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to show you personalized ads based on your interests.

If You Deny: You will continue to see ads, but they will be non-personalized (contextual) ads.

You can change this preference at any time in your device Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on this page.
